Employee Engagement Campaign for Biodiversity Protection

Hansol IONES partnered with the environmental social venture TreePlanet to conduct a social contribution campaign aimed at preserving biodiversity. This initiative focused on restoring endangered tree species and was carried out by distributing saplings and DIY growth kits to employees.

Under a matching grant model, for every plant purchased by the company, an equal number of endangered saplings were cultivated in a nursery. Once sufficiently grown, these saplings are transplanted into forests to contribute to natural restoration efforts.

A total of 100 employees participated in this campaign, supporting the protection and propagation of the endangered Parlor Palm (Chamaedorea elegans).
